Bored with the blog...

I'm having blog-envy. I like the lovely templates of my dear blog friends far better than my own. I have scrolled through the few available templates on blogger.com but I don't really dig any of them. Where else can I scour for a new blog template?

And how do I personalize it at the top with a photo?

If you read this, do me a favor and become a "follower" so I gain blog-self-esteem.

And finally, what is Twitter?

For backgrounds, Google the cutest blog on the block.

Looks like you got the photo figured out.

I am following. :)

Twitter is... well, let me put it this way. You know how much I love all things social networking, but after a few months twittering am still not sure I get it. I use it more for work than anything. I follow the major newspapers on Twitter and skim headlines all in one place for article ideas. (Nerd!)

The only reason I have a header on my personal blog is because blog-expert Kari did it for me. And the reason my World Orphans blog is cute is because one of the IT guys at World Orphans designed it for me. I know...I'm spoiled. And my take on twitter...just a way for people to see your status - I don't use it so I don't know the details. Some people say it's amazing because you can get information out quickly from your phone. I can see where they are coming from...but I don't really care to figure it out yet :)

Have fun personalizing your blog - sorry I'm not more help!!

Yeah, I have no idea to any of that. None. I still have a stupid background on my blog because I don't know how to do anything.

But I'm ok with it.

Some of the best blogger templates I have found are here

http://btemplates.com/

And as far as Twitter goes here is how I see it:

Twitter is to Facebook Status that AIM was to AOL

You take the most popular feature out of a larger tool and make it its own thing.
